FORGECLEAR: PRIVACY MANDATE & SERVICE TERMS

Effective Date: April 28, 2026

I. PRIVACY MANDATE

ForgeClear is a non-custodial system utility. Our fundamental operational logic is designed to optimize your hardware without ever establishing a digital shadow of your personal identity or the contents of your local storage.

The localized Computational Boundary

ForgeClear identifies and eliminates redundant APK files, residual application data, and temporary system caches.

Scoped File Access: To perform its core utility, the application requires the "All Files Access" (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) permission.

On-Device Encapsulation: Every analytical cycle used to identify storage clutter occurs exclusively within your device's local CPU and memory. We do not possess the infrastructure to upload, mirror, or inspect your file names, folder structures, or private documents to any external server.

Technical Telemetry and Third-Party Interfaces

While your personal files are never extracted, ForgeClear interfaces with specific third-party frameworks to maintain software resilience and monitor installation metrics.

Firebase (Google): Employed for real-time diagnostic reporting. In the event of a software exception, a pseudonymized technical log (hardware model, OS version, and failure stack trace) is generated to help our engineers stabilize the app.

Attribution & Analytics Platforms: These services identify the commercial origin of an installation. They process device-level technical identifiers such as your Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).

Isolation Guarantee: These partners are contractually prohibited from accessing your local storage or correlating technical telemetry with your biological identity.

Legal Foundations for Processing

Our limited interaction with technical metadata is grounded in the following legal pillars:

  • Contractual Necessity: The local analysis of your storage environment is the core service you have engaged us to perform.
  • Legitimate Interests: We utilize pseudonymized technical signals to secure our application against fraud, troubleshoot bugs, and manage our commercial viability.

Your Rights of Data Sovereignty

ForgeClear recognizes your absolute authority over your digital presence. We honor the following rights for all users globally:

  • Right to Know (Sharing & Selling): You have the right to receive confirmation that ForgeClear does not, and will never, sell your personal data. Sharing is strictly limited to the technical partners listed in Section 2 for operational health.
  • Right of Access & Rectification: You may request access to, or the correction of, any inaccurate or incomplete technical data processed by our telemetry partners.
  • Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the total deletion of your data. Uninstalling the app instantly purges all local scan history. For technical logs held by partners, our DPO can facilitate a purge request.
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: You are explicitly entitled to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our data handling violates legal standards.

Retention and Disposal Protocols

Local Operational Data: Information regarding files identified for cleanup is ephemeral; it exists in volatile memory only during an active session and is cleared upon task completion.

Technical Telemetry: Non-identifiable data held by third-party partners is retained for the minimum period required for aggregate performance reporting—typically 12 to 24 months—and is then permanently anonymized.

Choice and Control Mechanisms

Disallowing Sharing/Sales: While we do not sell data, you can prevent technical sharing by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) within your system settings.

Revocation of Consent: You may withdraw storage access at any time through your device settings, which will instantly terminate all application functionality.

Governance and Data Protection Officer (DPO)

We have appointed a DPO to supervise our privacy standards and handle all user inquiries.

II. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

Grant of License

ForgeClear grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the software on a single device for your personal maintenance, subject to these terms.

Usage Restrictions

By utilizing ForgeClear, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive the source code of the scanning logic.
  • Use the application to intentionally interfere with system-critical files required for device stability.
  • Modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit the software in any form.

Intellectual Property

The ForgeClear name, branding, and proprietary algorithms remain the exclusive property of the developer. No ownership rights are transferred under this license.

Disclaimer of Warranty

ForgeClear is provided "AS IS." While we strive for absolute precision, we do not warrant that the application will identify every piece of redundant data or remain entirely free from technical errors. Users are responsible for reviewing items flagged for removal before confirming deletion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeClear and its creators shall not be liable for any accidental loss of data, performance issues, or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.

Termination

This agreement is effective until terminated by you (via uninstallation) or by us. We reserve the right to revoke your license immediately if you violate any terms of this EULA.
